A Bit About Origami:

Origami is the art of paper folding. The word origami is undertaken from Japanese words ori meaning "folding" and kami meaning "paper", it is often associated with Japanese culture. Origami is the art form which is passed on from one generation to another. Origami is easy, fun and inexpensive.

Transforming a plain piece of paper into something interesting like flower, animal, bookmark, etc is always fun. Origami also has physical and mental benefits like development of hand-eye coordination, attention skills, sequencing skills, patience, math reasoning, etc. It is also used as a tool to teach basic principles of mathematics.
